Ebook About
This book is written in the fast-paced, down-to-earth style of the author’s other best-selling books about living full time in an RV. This book covers the things that were learned the hard way during seven years on the road living full-time in an RV. You won’t find this information in other RVing books and videos. One of the most valuable chapters in this book is the one that shows you the simple and easy technique that will guarantee that you will select the perfect RV for your first RV. For example, when they’re getting ready to live the RV lifestyle many people spend a tremendous amount of time, energy, and effort trying to decide which type of RV they should choose as their first. The worst part is that, in most cases, they end up with the wrong RV for their lifestyle, and they waste a lot of money in the process. Don’t let that happen to you. Follow the simple techniques described in Chapter 3, and you will end up with an RV that you will be happy with. The little-known buying techniques shown in this chapter will also show you how to get your perfect RV without losing your shirt. The chapter also includes the one thing most RV sellers tell you that you should never believe. It shows you how to find out the truth for yourself. While this book is mainly for people who are considering setting out on the adventurous RVing lifestyle, there’s a world of information veteran RVers will find informative and useful. This book is not trying to sugar-coat the RVing lifestyle. The author includes the good, the bad, and the funny things that happen to RVers. One last point: The final chapter is truly eye-opening.

Book Full-time RV Living: What I Wish I Had Known 7 Years Ago, Before I Hit the Road Review :

I bought this book recently and only just today got around to reading it. I don't know quite what I expected, but, in comparison to many other RV books, this was exceptional. The author claims not to be a writer and states that he never got better than a C in English classes. The shame is those classes, not the ability of this man to communicate in writing. I could learn a great deal from his example in this outstanding book. Not only does he cover a good deal of ground on what he learned the hard way, his ability to quickly explain how we can avoid his mistakes is well explained and includes links to YouTube videos, books, and web sites that add value and make the learning fun.BLUSH FACTOR: No worries here.WRITING & EDITING: Professional. I just cannot praise it highly enough.EXCERPTFor works as short as this, I don't provide excerpts. Trust me, though, this is a book any new RV owner will find useful.BOTTOM LINEFive stars out of five.I am striving to produce reviews that help you find books that you want, or avoid books that you wish to avoid. My longtime dentist told me he wants to live in an RV when he retires. Huh, I say to myself, what’s that all about? Thus, when I happened upon this book, I thought I’d read it to understand the lure of the RV life. What I really like about this book is the casual, conversational style of writing — as though you’re sitting at the kitchen table discussing the pros and cons of it all. The author is very frank and very thoughtful. Truth be told, I myself have zero interest in RVing, but I enjoyed the writing and read the whole thing because I felt I was being schooled in a particularly nice and thorough way. The author states that he tries to follow the Einstein philosophy of explaining things so that a six year old could understand; this six-plus year old understood it.The author relays his personal experience of RV living while discussing the various things a person should think about before jumping into RV life. I think his suggestion to purchase a used RV (rather than buy a new one) makes good sense. I laughed when he said to “always, always flinch at the first price”.He also talks about the emotional adjustment of RV living, as well as discusses more mundane but extremely important matters such as declaring a state of residency, email, mail, and health insurance. He provides an RV-load of book, blog, campsite, and YouTube video resources, too.I think it’s a good book to read for anyone considering that lifestyle. You should probably read other books, too, for other perspectives. This is an indie, self-published book. I loved the writing style, the editing is decent (not perfect, but decent), and the organization is good.Side note: The author makes a reference to Bob Marley singing a song written by Bobby McFerrin. That’s also Bobby singing the song, not Marley. Though it has a sort-of Marley vibe, Marley died 7 years before the song was written. Still a great song and great message.
